Left: The first pic taken of Rue, posted on PetFinder.com April 5, 2014.  Rue was rescued through the Geauga County Dog Rescue Volunteers located in Chardon, Ohio.  These are a group of twelve DEDICATED Ohioans led by Trish Carney. Right: My first pic of the little lady, taken at her foster home. As they say, I just fell in love with her and knew I could handle the challenges ahead and provide her with the best home possible.  Patience, commitment and assertiveness! Patience, commitment and assertiveness! (I keep saying it to myself!)

Habibi - Erie's Halal Restaurant

After a lovely play date at our friend's house Saturday Rue had wore herself out enough to take a nap in her kennel while we went in to try the newly opened Habibi Restaurant located next to the Hookah Cafe near the Brewerie at Union Station on 14th Street Erie.

With the recent closing of my favorite Meditterean restaurant in Erie County - Big Moe's located in Fairview, I've been waiting patiently for Samer Mustafa to put the finishing touches on his newest "Sweetheart" adventure (literally, Habibi means Sweetheart in Arabic).
